Women of Influence Award

It was a regular day at a daytime networking event and then I got an email: Congratulations on being named a “Woman of Influence”  by the L.A. Biz! For the second straight year, we asked a panel of business leaders to identify 50 successful women with strong community commitment and a track record of paying it forward. We’re going to publicly announce the award winners on November 20, 2015 in

Nicole, Gwyneth, and Pearl xChange

Over the weekend I attended the first event hosted by Pearl xChange, an organization founded by Nicole Richie.  The event was billed as a connection, a source of support, a place to share knowledge, and a place to have fun.  Held at the Sheraton Universal, it featured a full day of speakers, goodie bags, and networking. CATbaret with Kitty Bungalow

I was exited to check out the CATbaret show that Kitty Bungalow put on recently.  A star-studded event that raises money for feral cats, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect.  We had great seats in the front and tickets to the after party so we were ready for a fun evening.  We weren’t disappointed.  We were treated to stage performances by Nicole Sullivan, Fred Willard, Keith David and more

You knew it was coming.  You saw the pic of me and Arianna Huffington throwing shakas.  You knew it was only a matter of time before I was a contributor on the Huffington Post.  Yes, you are correct!  I am a Huffington Post Blogger!  My first post with them went live this week and I couldn’t be more excited.  Does this mean I will post here less?  Of course not!
